Silver Palace Endgame: Deep Cognito and House of Greed

Deep Cognito is the hard-fight track that opens after the story. House of Greed is something else entirely, and it may not be in the launch build at all.

CBT2 data Updated 2 November 2026 · Launch values may differ

Short answer: Deep Cognito is the high-difficulty combat challenge track. In CBT2, clearing tier 7 unlocked the combat-depth questionnaire, and reaching 50% exploration in any district unlocked the exploration questionnaire. House of Greed is a separate multiplayer mode announced at gamescom 2026, still in early development, using an over-the-shoulder camera with room exploration and third-person shooting. It is not confirmed for launch, and no PvE, extraction or asymmetric mode has been announced.

What is Deep Cognito?

Deep Cognito is the high-difficulty combat challenge track. It sits outside the case story and asks you to clear progressively harder fights with the party you have built. Tiers are numbered, and the seventh tier, T7, is the one that appears in the test documentation. Reactor Crystal is one of the rewards tied to the mode, which is why it also functions as a currency source for players who do not pull.

Think of it as the place where the combat system is examined rather than where the story continues. You bring the break characters, the Reactor gauge discipline and the execution timing from the main game, and the mode raises the demand. The combat guide covers the fundamentals it tests.

What is T7 and why does it matter?

T7 is the seventh tier of Deep Cognito. In CBT2 it mattered because clearing it unlocked the combat-depth questionnaire, one of the feedback surveys used during testing. The tier itself is content; the questionnaire is the test-only layer on top of it. A launch build may keep the tier and drop or rename the survey.

If you are reading old test guides, this is the distinction that trips people up. Clearing T7 was not a requirement for story progress. It was a requirement for a survey, and the survey was there to collect feedback on combat depth.

What are the questionnaire gates?

There were three gates in the test builds. Completing Act II Scene IV unlocked the experience questionnaire. Clearing Deep Cognito T7 unlocked the combat-depth questionnaire. Reaching 50% exploration in any one district unlocked the exploration questionnaire. In the first test, completing the experience questionnaire plus either depth questionnaire earned an automatic invitation to the next closed test.

These are feedback instruments, not endgame goals. The useful takeaway for launch is that exploration percentage and Deep Cognito depth are both tracked as meaningful progress, even if the surveys themselves do not ship.

What is House of Greed?

House of Greed is a multiplayer mode announced at gamescom 2026 during Opening Night Live. Official developer comment describes it as still in early development, planned as part of the main game experience and designed as a multiplayer mode. It uses a classic over-the-shoulder camera and a matching character control scheme, and it focuses on room exploration and third-person shooting.

The trailer showed a detective and other characters moving through dark, enclosed spaces while creatures emerged from the shadows, with a tense survival-horror tone and gunplay framed like a classic Resident Evil camera. It ends on a deep red House of Greed title card. The mode is being handled by a small separate team, and no release window has been given.

Is House of Greed a PvE, extraction or asymmetric mode?

None of those labels is official. The confirmed description covers multiplayer, rooms, shooting and an over-the-shoulder camera. PvE, extraction and asymmetric competition are player guesses, not developer statements, and they should not be repeated as fact. What is confirmed is that the mode is deliberately different from the main game's four-character action combat with real-time swapping.

It is also not confirmed for launch. The only safe planning assumption is that the game ships without it and that it may arrive later as a separate mode. Anyone presenting a launch date for House of Greed is inventing one.

What is there to do after the main story?

Three tracks. Deep Cognito gives you escalating combat challenges and T7 as a named milestone. Exploration gives you district completion, with 50% as a tracked threshold in one district. The daily layer gives you Affinity, Rapport, property income and the life minigames, none of which depend on the story ending.

The main story itself stops on a cliffhanger at the end of Act IV, so "after the main story" in CBT2 really meant after the available acts. The progression page covers the daily systems, and the case page covers where the story stops.

Version note: all tiers, thresholds and mode details on this page are CBT2 values and announcements as of 2 November 2026. House of Greed is in early development and is not confirmed for the 14 December 2026 launch, and launch values may differ. Last checked 2 November 2026.

Common questions

Is T7 the final tier?

It is the highest tier named in the test documentation. Tiers above T7 are not confirmed.

Is House of Greed at launch?

Not confirmed. The mode was announced in early development, and no release window has been given.

Does the game have PvP?

No PvP mode has been announced. House of Greed is described as multiplayer, but its format is not confirmed.

Why does 50% exploration matter?

In tests it unlocked the exploration questionnaire. At launch it is simply a district completion threshold, unless the build says otherwise.
